A shift is described from alpha (8 to 12 Hz) and beta waves (13 to 30 Hz), which are associated with ego consciousness and mental noise, towards theta (4 to 8 Hz) and delta waves (0.5 to 4 Hz), accompanied by gamma activity (30 to 100 Hz), which is linked to expanded states of perception.
DMT. The body produces small amounts of DMT itself. It is assumed that more of it is released in special states, when the parasympathetic system takes over, cortisol drops and the brain shifts into theta and delta. This connection has not been scientifically proven so far.
Origin. Kevin Libawski came to know the method in India and developed it further. Its roots are seen in the Vedic scriptures. All Vādma therapists are trained and certified by him.
